This years’ Christmas Carols event is planned to be held on Sunday evening 17th December from 5pm at the exciting new venue Moorings Circuit Park …. which is walking or cycling distance for many Twin Waters residents.
We have always been aware that parking may be an issue and we seek your cooperation:

We urge as many of you as possible to walk or cycle to the event. We’d love to see you dress your bikes in a Christmas theme!

All usual parking rules must be followed – parking inspectors from Council and/or Police could be in the area

There is a dedicated free event parking site at 23-27 Stillwater Drive … that is the Stockland land at the Esperance Drive roundabout and Stockland have kindly allowed us to use this to accommodate about 130 cars. It is an 8 minute walk from this car park to Moorings Park. Street lighting will ensure you can see where you are walking.

Volunteers from Lions will be on site at the 23-27 Stillwater Drive allotment to assist with orderly parking.

Do not park on the grass verge area and do not block or inhibit driveways.

Undanbi Lane and Toombra Lane are reserved for residents of those two streets and to drop off people with a disability. (These streets are simply too narrow for any additional street parking).

Please park on one side of the streets in the area only … we must ensure free space is available for emergency services in case they are needed at the Park or in any of the nearby streets.

Please respect private property, particularly in the garden and verge areas at the front of houses.
Music will commence at 5.15pm and the Carols soon after.
Food and drinks will be available for sale from around 5pm, including offerings from The Loose Goose, the Maroochy North Shore Lions, a coffee cart and an ice-cream cart.
The fireworks display will complete the evening at 7.30pm and is now a restricted display within the Park due to the presence of the migratory Shorebirds which are nearby.
We will have raffle tickets for purchase by cash or card.
Reminder: bring a picnic blanket, chairs and some personal insect repellant and most importantly your best singing voice!
